Where Does My Money Go?
We are often asked “What does my donation go towards?” The simple answer is Texas A&M Scholarships! Every year the Houston Howdy Club awards multiple scholarships to current Texas A&M students who best exemplify the “Aggie Spirit.” These scholarships make a tremendous impact on these Aggies and their families financially, allowing them to realize their dream of attending Texas A&M.
Our mission of providing these scholarships is accomplished by our incredible sponsors, generous donations, and exciting events throughout the year. Scholarship Eligibility
To be considered for a Houston Howdy Club Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be an undergraduate student currently enrolled full-time at either the College Station or Galveston campus. (**A full-time student is defined as one enrolled in and taking at least 12 hours at the Texas A&M University College Station or Galveston campus. Students enrolled in their final semester and taking less than 12 hours can still be considered full-time. Please consult your academic adviser with any questions regarding status. **)
- Be entering your sophomore year or higher.
- Maintain good standing with Texas A&M University
- Maintain a minimum overall grade point average of 2.75.
